Each Thursday from April to October St. Michael’s is host to a great crop of gardeners. When the weeds appear, as they assuredly do, these gardeners rake and hoe and root them out without recourse to artificial chemicals. They stay alert for slugs and caterpillars and deal with them in an environmentally friendly manner. When the sun shines and the rain is scarce they water these plant lovingly and watch them grow into healthy crops to be harvested and savoured.
Each year a new crop of gardeners is welcomed on our 10 week course. If you would like to join the course please enrol as soon as possible. When the 10 weeks is over you will be very welcome to continue with the group. Cost is €70 and the tutor costs are funded by the Sligo ETB

We will explore our individual habits and thinking style; set personal goals based on our unique values; learn how to live our life purposefully and stop ‘just getting by’; look at the stresses of life and how best to deal with them; explore different ways of communicating and discover the best method suited to ourselves. The day will include some mindful meditation and visualization exercises
